Ubbink's Ventilation Lead Craig Attends Building Insights Round Table with Net Mag Media
Ubbink was delighted to sponsor a second Building Insights Round Table hosted by Net Mag Media. Representing Ubbink, our Ventilation Product Lead, Craig, travelled to London to join leading experts from across the ventilation industry, including major housebuilders, architects and manufacturers.
The discussion brought together a wealth of project experience and practical evidence, highlighting strategies that are helping to make large-scale Passivhaus developments both achievable and commercially viable.
The round table focused on the health, wellbeing and financial benefits that Passivhaus can deliver in a warming climate, while exploring how greater Government support could help accelerate adoption and contribute towards wider housebuilding targets.
Delegates also discussed the role of design and product innovation in delivering cost-effective Passivhaus projects at scale. Topics included streamlining MVHR systems, advancing airtightness methods and sharing recent examples of developments delivered at a cost per square metre comparable with standard construction.
Alongside the main discussion, attendees exchanged valuable insights, lessons learned and best practices as the industry continues to place greater emphasis on Passivhaus principles and high-performance ventilation solutions.
