50th Anniversary celebration at the iconic Silverstone Circuit
Reaching 50 years is a remarkable milestone, and we wanted to celebrate it in a way that reflected the people, partnerships and achievements that have shaped Ubbink's journey.
We were delighted to host our 50th anniversary celebration at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, bringing together colleagues from across the UK and our international teams, alongside valued partners and customers, for a memorable day of celebration.
The event began with inspiring speeches from our Managing Director, Richard Willetts, and Dr Marko Blazekovic, who reflected on Ubbink's history, achievements and exciting future ahead.
Following lunch, guests headed to the Silverstone garages where they were split into six teams to take part in a series of Formula 1-inspired challenges. Activities included racing simulators, tyre-changing competitions, Batak reaction tests and strategic team exercises that put communication, teamwork and decision-making skills to the test.
The day was a tremendous success, with fantastic feedback from attendees and a great atmosphere throughout. It was a fitting way to mark five decades of innovation, collaboration and growth.
As we celebrate this significant achievement, we would like to thank everyone who has been part of our journey so far. We look forward to building on our success and embracing the opportunities that the next 50 years will bring.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our story so far. We'd also like to extend our thanks to to Bespoke Events and Floral Designs for their incredible work in creating the interior spaces that helped bring the event to life.
