Ubbink launches Aerflux Configurator for faster, smarter ventilation planning
Ubbink has introduced the Aerflux Configurator, a new digital tool designed to simplify and accelerate residential ventilation planning. The configurator enables professionals to calculate the ventilation requirements of an entire home in just a few steps, combining speed, accuracy, and practical outputs in one platform.
From project setup to instant results
The Aerflux Configurator guides users through a clear three-step workflow. Users begin by creating a project, entering the property location and key details, and saving multiple calculations under one project for easy retrieval and updates.
Next, the building layout can be defined by adding floors and rooms and entering surface areas. Once the calculation starts, the tool automatically determines the ventilation requirements for each space, helping ensure balanced air distribution throughout the property.
With a single click on air balancing, the system instantly generates ventilation requirements per room. These calculations are automatically aligned with legally required ventilation capacities for habitable areas. While the tool uses recommended air volumes by default, users can adjust airflow values to suit project needs. If entered values fall below legal requirements, the configurator issues a notification.
Bridging the gap between calculation and installation
Beyond calculations, the Aerflux Configurator converts planning data into practical outputs. Once project information is complete, users can immediately access air-balancing results, component lists, bills of materials, and downloadable reports.
The system also generates a tailored list of recommended ventilation components based on the project inputs. This includes ducts, valves, and other essential parts, with options to select component types, adjust quantities, and define custom duct lengths to match real-world installation requirements.
With this launch, Ubbink aims to streamline the entire ventilation planning process, from initial calculations through to implementation on site.
