How does the configurator work?

With the Aerflux Configurator, you can determine the ventilation requirements for an entire house in just three simple steps:

1. Start by setting up a new project

Give your project a name, specify the location of the house, and provide key details about your project so you can easily retrieve and modify it when needed. Want to calculate the ventilation needs of an entire project? You can accommodate multiple calculations under the same project name.

2. Enter the rooms and surface areas

Define the structure of the building by adding floors and individual rooms. For each space, input the surface area. Once you start the calculation, the configurator will determine and display the ventilation requirements for each room, ensuring optimal air distribution.

3. The Aerflux Configurator instantly calculates the ventilation requirements

When you click on air balancing, the ventilation requirements for each room will immediately appear on your screen. These requirements are calculated per room and adjusted according to the legally required ventilation capacity per room or habitable area.

The ventilation calculation is based on the recommended air volumes by default. However, you can always adjust the standard air volumes to match the desired airflow.

Note: If you enter an air volume that is lower than the recommended capacity, you will receive a notification that the legal requirements are not met.

Aerflux configurator: from calculation to practice

The Aerflux configurator distinguishes itself by translating the ventilation calculations directly into practice. Once all data have been entered, you can immediately view the air balancing, components, bill of materials and download reports.

Choice of components

The configurator automatically generates a list of recommended ventilation components based on your inputs. This includes ducts, valves, and other essential parts. You can choose the type of duct and valve, adjust quantities and enter custom duct lengths to match the exact needs of your project.
