Non-lead flashings

Lead sheet is often used to waterproof roof and façade junctions, but it has its limitations. Ubbink manufactures a range of non-lead flashings, which can be used for most applications for which lead sheet is used, but are:

much lighter in weight, which make them easier, quicker and safer to dress
durable
non-toxic
environmentally friendly

Ubbink’s flashings are either manufactured with self-adhesive strips or backing or can be secured with a specific sealant to prevent wind-uplift; in the case of Ubiflex Standard up to 160 km/h.

Ubiflex Finio - Polyisobutylene (PIB) with an aluminium mesh reinforcement, an adhesive back and 2 butyl adhesive strips
Ubiflex Standard - PP granule-coated modified bitumen compound with an aluminium mesh reinforcement
Ubiform+ - Butyl rubber (IIR) with an aluminimum sheet cover
